This afghan works up quickly and is good for charity projects. The sample shown was worked in 3-ply sport yarn in a variegated color. 

 

You’ll need: worsted weight yarn (I used Vanna’s Choice), 5mm (H) hook, and some elastic .  

Materials At least 6 balls of rainbow colors worsted weight yarn. I used 8 balls: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, turquoise, purple and pink. You’ll have plenty left for other projects. 5mm crochet hook Blunt needle Scissors
